Solving Cupid’s Coldest Cases: Valentines Day Victories

Ruby Wilde and Melissa Mae Season 1 Episode 18

How long does it take to close a case? As you know from last week’s episode, some cases may never be solved, but this week, we give you closure. It may have taken years, but justice has been found for these victims.

From the murder of Terri McAdams and finding her killer, but not before he struck again killing Denise Sharp and her best friend Debra DeLaTorre. A Jane Doe got her identity back when it was discovered that she was Wanda Deann Kirkum. Jodine Elizabeth Serrin’s family got closure. Ignacia Manriquez found her justice after 17 years when her killer was caught in Mexico.

And finally a Valentine’s Day dance was the beginning of the end for Carla Walker, but thanks to efforts by Paul Holes, her killer was found and sent to prison. This murder lead to the “Carla Walker Act” to make sure there is federal funding for DNA testing in cold cases.
